Afterwards, the "Incarnate troop" , under the leadership of Hank and Cain, helped the North army achieve many victories, while Elaine was responsible for healing the troop members, but she found that each time the members of the troop used the power of Incarnate, they It's not easy to change from beast turn back into human, let alone find a solution to deal with it. Even Elaine tried to find a solution for the medical serum she injected them with, she was worried that it would still be difficult to suppress their changes with just the serum. Elaine also doubts whether she can find a way and create an antidote before the end of the war to turn people who have become Incarnate back into humans. Later, after a battle, an "Incarnate troop" s member-- Hydra Incarnate who named Abi discovers that his powers have somehow begun to go out of control, attacking allies and enemies alike. Despite Hank's efforts to prevent this, Abi chose to commit suicide rather than let Hank and his comrades be implicated. After the incident, members of the Incarnates force began to feel very uneasy and fearful about their fate. Elaine, Hank and Cain are very worried about this incident. Because the unknown power of the Incarnates is so powerful that they cannot be controlled by human will alone. The next day, as everyone disposes of Abi's corpse, Hank tells their comrades on the team that they don't know why this is happening, and they don't know if they can control the Incarnates 's unknown powers. But they cannot let this stop them from facing the future. Hank makes his comrades swear that if their comrades begin to lose their humanity, they will prevent this from happening by killing their comrades before the situation becomes serious. More importantly, they are the embodiment of dignity and proud will. Elaine gradually lost confidence in her Incarnates research and showed a desperate expression. Shortly after that incident, the "Incarnate troop" continued to assist the Northern Army on many occasions, but in the course of the battles, many Incarnates lost their lives on the battlefield, and some had lost their minds and had to be buried by their comrades in the team. Even though there are people in the army who can fight, most of them are already in the beasts form, and some are in half-beast form . When the "Incarnate troop" was arrived in the South's capital closely, Hank told their comrades that he planned to convince Elaine to stay with him after the war was over. He hopes they all survive and return home safely. That night, Hank and Cain began talking about the process of how they became friends and took on the responsibilities of leaders. Cain tells Hank he'd better be concerned about Elaine's condition. As Hank and Elaine talk outside the military camp, Elaine tells Hank that their operation may be coming to an end as the armies of the North and the South are privately negotiating a settlement that will reunite the country. Hank was very glad heard about this and knew the peace their country longed for was coming. Just when Hank was about to report the news to Cain and their comrades, Elaine suddenly told Hank that once the war was over, their Incarnates might face a situation where they had nowhere to go. When Hank asked Elaine a reason, Elaine suddenly shot Hank and seriously injured him. Elaine tells Hank that those who become Incarnates will not only lose their human appearance, but in the worst case, they will lose their humanity and turn into beasts. Incarnates will one day become a huge threat to the world after the war. Although she tried her best to find a solution to this situation, it was all in vain. What's more, she had not found an antidote even not found the method of turning the incarnates who had turned into beasts can to transform human back. Elaine says the only thing she can do is execute all members of the Incarnates before they retain their humanity. Elaine knew that Hank's personality would not allow her behavior, but she was unwilling to watch and accept the fate of Hank and their comrades suddenly turning into beasts one day and unable to turn back into humans. So she decides to give up on her love for Hank and commit suicide. Later, Elaine handed Cain, who appeared behind her, a pistol and several bullets to help her execute their comrades. However, when Hank was unconscious, Cain shot and killed Elaine for no reason. Two months later, Hank woke up in a military hospital on federal territory, A northern intelligence officer named Liza Runecastle told him that the war were ended after two months. She further told Hank that when he was found in a near-death situation, Elaine had suddenly disappeared on the eve of the war and she whereabouts were unknown, and Cain also disappeared without a trace after he releasing all the Incarnate troop members. All the released Incarnates have caused many fatal incidents in various places, and even caused people to be deeply persecuted under this conflict and suffer heavy casualties. Since then, all the Incarnates who once became "heroes" and "gods" have become taboo existences. When Hank remembered the scene where he witnessed Cain shooting Elaine with his own eyes, he showed a mixture of sadness and rage. Hank decided to find and defeat Cain, retrieve the dead Elaine, and fulfill the oath he made to their troop, so he transformed into a "Beast Hunter" and hunted down all Incarnates who had lost their humanity and turned into beasts.

Liza explains to Hank and Schaal at the hotel that the fortress was built by an Minotaur Incarnate. According to the army's intelligence, Minotaur Incarnate began to build a fortress after returning from the war. Even though Minotaur Incarnate built the fortress, it almost tore the city apart, so they had to stop Minotaur Incarnate before the situation got difficult. Schaal thought they could convince Minotaur Incarnate to stop him from building the fortress in other ways. At this time, Minotaur Incarnate steps onto a balcony and declares to the city the time for war is nigh, unable to accept the war is over. Hank decides that he will go fight Minotaur Incarnate tonight, and Liza takes Schaal to the tent refugee camp and explains that because Minotaur Incarnate built the fortress, the people nearby became refugees. Liza then took out the small leather bag filled with bullets that Hank had asked her to prepare. Liza told Schaal that although all Incarnates were once the ones that ended the war, now they have turned into beasts and caused problems that need to be dealt with urgently. Since there is currently no plan or antidote to turn the Incarnates back into humans, they can only be hit with weapons. Liza explained that the Incarnates cannot be killed with ordinary bullets and weapon, only the weapon can taking down Incarnates is special bullets which called Godkiller bullets. Liza explained that these bullets they made are imitations and cannot be compared with the real ones, but have enough lethality to kill Incarnates. Liza said she wanted to understand how Hank felt when he used these bullets to kill all Incarnates. Because the only person who can understand the Incarnates is the Incarnates. That night, Schaal was thinking about Hank in the shower. At this time, Hank woke up from dreaming about his past while sleeping and find Schaal had not yet tied her pigtails. Schaal discovered that Hank seemed to have said something but she didn't want to continue questioning him. After finding the Godkiller bullets which Liza gave him, Hank loaded these bullets into his pistol and took Schaal into the fortress. When Schaal followed Hank, she was surprised when they saw that many people who broke into the fortress were killed in the traps, and once touched the mechanism, so Hank had to help her escape from the mechanism. Schaal asked Hank what kind of people for Minotaur Incarnate was. At that time, Hank knew how the Minotaur Incarnate Theo Sherman was a coward man who always was afraid of all everything, including the fear of death. At that time on the battlefield, Hank comforted Theo that everyone was also afraid of the battlefield, but as long as they were prepared to fight, they did not have to be afraid of everything. As Hank walks through the passage, the portcullis falls between them, Hank tells Schaal that she must find a mechanism to open the portcullis if she is to continue forward. Liza, who was following closely behind, appeared at this time. Liza knew that Hank asked her to take Schaal away because Schaal would be in danger if she continued to follow him. However, Schaal did not agree because she had to know Hank's reason to killing her father. Later, Liza helped Schaal find the mechanism of the portcullis and open it. At the same time, Hank arrived at the center of the maze and found Theo. Theo, who became extremely paranoid, welcomed Hank's arrival and said that "enemies" were everywhere, seemingly looking for opportunities to kill him. Hank picked up his weapon and tell Theo that he is his "enemy". Theo decided that Hank was his "enemy" and started a fight with him. Liza and Schaal, who were following Hank, sensed the movement and rushed to the scene. Schaal asked Liza whether Hank was an Incarnate, because she found that Hank looked no different from ordinary humans. When Liza and Schaal arrived at the scene, they find Hank falling due to Theo's attack. When Theo picked up an ax to attack Hank. Schaal begged Theo to stop fighting, but Liza explained to Schaal that her attempt was in vain because Theo had lost his mind for long ago, but in Hank's condition, he would not be easily defeated, Hank began to change soon after catching Theo's axe. Liza explained that Hank was one of the few Incarnets who only exerted and reveals no his true Incarnate power at night, and Hank's Incarnate from was Werewolf who called " the God of War". Hank transform into a werewolf injured Theo's cheek. Theo started the mechanism in fear and told him that no matter how big a fortress he built, he could not get rid of his fear. He asked Hank whether he had to be more prepared to end his fear. Hank tells Theo that he will help him end it, so Hank knocks Theo to the ground with his claws. Afterwards, Theo, who fell to the ground, felt a little relieved that Hank had helped him gain relief and redemption. Hank told Theo that he could rest easy, so he shot the dead Theo with a godkiller bullet. When Schaal looked at Hank's sad expression, she gradually felt his mood and feelings. Schaal remember that when Hank shot her father, her father showed reassuring eyes. she also discovered that many Incarnates had been killed by Hank, they all did not blame him, but expressed their sad last words. Schaal really wanted to know whether her father was really complaining about Hank killing him, and she also wants to know what her father said to Hank and entrusted him with what was most important to him. In the Union's capital Newfort , Captain Claude, leader of the Incarnate Extermination Squad "The Coup de Grace troop" who had just dealt a fatal blow to an unknown Incarnate of an incarnation, and His troops were cheered by the people in the streets, while the president and senior officials watched the return of Coup de Grace . Gerald, the deputy leader of "Coup de Grace" told Claude that he should not face the people with a serious expression. Claude explained that he would not smile until they had hunted all the Incarnates. It seems that there is some reason why Claude prioritized the mission of hunting all the Incarnates. On the other hand, Cain who disappeared for a long time during the war and are the people Hank is looking for, stay with a white-haired child look a photos of Hank and Schaal who are follow him. Cain was sarcastic that Hank was still receiving destiny's attention, and he looked forward to seeing Hank and Schaal arrive.
4 | "March of the Behemoth" Transliteration: "Behimosu no Mōshin" (Japanese: 巨獣の猛進) | 22 July 2019
During the war time, a young man was drawing pictures not far from the military camp. At this time, Hank handed a glass of water to the young man. Time came to modern times, and a frontier soldier discovered that Behemoth Incarnate was moving among the woods. The other side, Schaal and Hank took the train to South Patria. They approached a huge iron bridge connecting the North and the South. The driver told Schaal that the huge iron bridge was a symbol of peace at the end of the war. At this time, Liza and the military ordered the conductor to stop the train, she told Hank that the military had received the information of the Incarnate of Behemoth nearby and was heading east to the iron bridge. If the Behemoth reaches the iron bridge, it may destroy it. Hank told the military many of Behemoth's abilities. He told the military how to temporarily subdue Behemoth. The military initially used cannons to attack the Behemoth Incarnate, but the attacks had no effect, but Hank still used his weapon to pierce the Behemoth Incarnate 's leg joints and successfully subdue him. Liza tells Schaal that she has received a recent report from the military stating that Behemoth Incarnate was unharmed. The behavior of any human being, as he has been avoiding densely populated areas, it is possible that Behemoth Incarnate has retained his humanity. The next day, Schaal visited Behemoth Incarnate and asked why it continued to move forward without turning back but received no answer. At this time, Liza and Hank negotiated with the president of the railroad. At first, the railroad president's request to kill Behemoth Incarnate was rejected. Liza explains their plan to fill the valley in front of the beast with explosives to protect the Iron bridge so they can deal with Behemoth Incarnate 's problem, but the railroad president is dissatisfied and angrily leaves. After Hank ordered the military to set up explosives next to the valley, Schaal asked Hank about the past of Behemoth Incarnate. Hank explained that Behemoth Incarnate was a man named Arther Allston who was called "Artie" and good at drawing but always to keep taciturn. Schaal told Hank that she discovered that the reason why Artie headed towards the iron bridge was because there was something it wanted to see, but Hank said that he could not save Artie. After all, they just to kill Artie came to protect everyone's safety, and as Incarnates they cannot destroy the current peace, but Schaal disagreed with Hank's statement because she found that Artie tried to live peacefully in this era and also maintained human nature. In the afternoon, after Liza confirmed the explosives brought by the army, she found that Schaal was worried about Artie. Liza told Schaal that even if she tried to protect Artie, it would be in vain, because even if Artie did not attack the bridge, he will have to be punished sooner or later, and they cannot ignore the danger of Artie, they can only choose the path that brings a painless end to Artie. That night, the men sent by the president of the railway knocked out the military guards and tried to blow up Artie. Who knew that Artie was so angry that he trampled them and approached the bridge. Hank ordered the army to kill Artie, When he after confirming the placement of the explosives and the location of the remaining explosives, he immediately transformed into a werewolf from to block Artie and pushed it down to a part of the cliff full of explosives. The military tried to use the explosives to detonate the explosives in the debris and bury Artie, the force of the explosion had no way to retreat and became even more powerful, tearing open the chest of Artie. Artie continued to move forward even though his internal organs were about to fall out. Schaal stood on the bridge and begged Behemoth not to hurt others if he still had humanity left. Hank on the ground begged Artie not to destroy the future they had created. At this time, the explosion near the bridge blew up the canyon wall, and the giant beast saw what it wanted to see - the seaside opposite and an endless sea. Artie collapsed with tears streaming from his eyes. Only then did Hank understand Artie's intention and showed sad eyes. After the incident, Hank told Schaal that he remembered Artie once to telling him about his want to going to see the sea. At that time, Hank told Artie that he could go see the sea after the war. Schaal then understood that the reason why Hank asked the military to set up explosives next to the valley was to prevent Artie from having to walk across the iron bridge to view the sea. Hank said that even so, it still could not change the fact that he killed Artie, but Schaal told Hank that thanks to his help, Artie could realize his wish in the end. Hank felt a little comfort when he heard Schaal's statement, and they decided not to let down Artie's wish and the peace they had fought for in the past. When Hank and Schaal return to camp, Liza tells Hank that she has received a report from the military indicating that Cain Madhouse is in a steam city called Whitechurch, which made Hank was very sensitive. Because Cain is not only Hank's enemy and the former vice captain of the Incarnate troop, but more importantly, he is the one who released all Incarnates who turned into beasts upon into the world. In the Whitechurch's street, Cain and a mysterious girl who named Migileglia are encounter two prostitutes on the street. When Cain bites a prostitute's neck, it causes her to mutate and bite off another prostitute's neck. Cain asked Migileglia who was accompanying him if he felt that this worthless world would become worthless and interesting if it did not change, so the two left the street.
5 | "Gargoyle's Judgement" Transliteration: "Gāgoiru no Danzai" (Japanese: ガーゴイルの断罪) | 29 July 2019
Hank, Schaal and Liza came to Whitechurch, a city dominated by steam streets, famous for its prosperity and poverty born from coal, but famous for its slums with almost no law. According to Liza's explanation, according to military reports, witnesses witnessed people suspected of being Cain killing people all over the city of Whitechurch. In order to find Cain as soon as possible and know his recent purpose and actions, they asked many local residents. However, because Hank and Liza are were military, all the residents completely refused to answer and will cooperate their questions, not to mention the residents living in the slums. Therefore, Hank and Liza did not get any relevant information about Cain. Hank also explained that the slums of Whitechurch have existed for a long time. The area became quite unsafe during the war, and the people inside would use unscrupulous criminal methods to survive. Liza asked Hank if he wanted to rest first before continuing to inquire about information, but Hank ignored Liza's persuasion and continued to investigate and inquire about Cain's whereabouts alone. That night, unable to find Cain's whereabouts and relevant information, Hank decided to return to the hotel where he was staying and start resting. Schaal told Hank that Liza went to the police station to confirm whether there were more victims. When she failed to ask Hank about his mention of Cain, Schaal noticed the hole that she had shot through Hank's military jacket with a rifle. On the other side, in the slum area of Whitechurch, a thief boy named Andy witnessed the horrifying process of a prostitute being murdered by a stone demon and hung on the wall. Hank was half asleep when he heard Schaal's voice and woke up. He saw Schaal mending his unit's coat. Schaal said she was good at sewing and explained that she once mended the clothes of orphans in her father's orphanage. Hank explains that he grew up in an institution similar to an orphanage, and in back then, he was not used to that place, was unreliable, and always needed to care. When Hank noticed that Schaal's eyes were blue, he gradually remembered Elaine Bluelake, who once to like him and also had a beautiful blue eyes. Hank felt comforted and gradually recalled that Elaine was once to helped him mend his clothes in the past. Hank said that he knew someone with the same blue eyes as Schaal. Schaal knew that Hank was talking about was actually Elaine, so she asked Hank about the time when he mentioned Elaine's name while talking in his sleep. Hank told Schaal that because he was dreaming about the scene where Elaine is killed by Cain before. Hank explains to Schaal that all Incarnates will eventually lose their humanity even lose their human's mind in someday. At that time, Elaine, as the producer of all Incarnates, also understood the serious consequences and knew that she had to take responsibility for the creation of all Incarnates. At first, Hank understood that Elaine wanted to complete her due responsibility, but Cain kills Elaine and releases all Incarnates. Hank did not know Cain's motives for killing Elaine and his reasons for releasing all Incarnates, he only know as long as the Incarnates lost their humanity and rationality, they will attack human no matter what happen for everything. he can do only thing is to kill all Incarnates before they begin to degenerate into beasts, so that they can be buried as humans for his last duty as the captain of the Incarnate troop. Hank said he also wants to find Elaine who was killed and find answers while killing Cain. Schaal is astonished by the fact that Hank has become a hunter who hunts all Incarnates and why he embarks on the journey, and she feels sympathy for Hank who has to endure all the pain and everything alone. The next day, Liza woke up Schaal and took her and Hank to see a prostitute who was killed and crucified overnight. Hank discovered that the prostitute who was crucified was not killed by Cain, because he saw the claw marks of beast on the corpse of the murdered prostitute. At this time, Andy, a little boy who witnessed the murder, explained to the police officers and the onlookers that he knew who the murderer was, but was rejected. Hank understood from Andy's mouth, and he guess committed the crime is Christopher Keynes, who called "Topher" and as an Gargoyle Incarnate. Hank remembered Topher once comforted many troop's members who were about shaken and want to give up the fight on during the war. He cheered them up with his sense of justice and infinite will that defeated the Federation. When Andy asks Hank if he can kill the Gargoyle Incarnates, Hank nods in agreement. Liza discovered that Andy had a secret that they didn't want to know, so she immediately asked Andy if he wanted to tell her what he was hiding. As a result, Andy quickly pulled off Liza's clothes, exposing her breasts, and then turned and ran away. Schaal was embarrassed that Liza's big breasts were exposed, and she was immediately angry at Andy's behavior. Liza had better cover her breasts. Later, Schaal was worried about Andy's situation, so she went to find Andy with Hank's permission. She also promised to use a gun if she encountered any danger. Hank asked Schaal if she could shoot in front of someone who showed no resentment, and Schaal said she should be able to do it and turned away. Although Liza had no objection to Hank allowing Schaal to go alone, she had to leave town for a while to comply with military 's orders, so she gave Hank the responsibility of dealing with the Gargoyle Incarnate. Later, Schaal finds Andy and explains to him that she once had a father who became an Incarnate but was killed by Hank. Although Andy asked her if she hated Hank, Schaal said that she initially viewed Hank as an enemy and wanted to understand why he did what he did, but she began to waver after experiencing the situation in which Hank killed most of the Incarnates. Because Schaal found that the more she got to know Hank and most Incarnates, the more she understood their difficulties, pains and thoughts of becoming Incarnates. She also thought about the fact and point of view that Incarnates are not gods and beasts at all, but human beings. Just then Andy suddenly took an apple from the vendor. Schaal asked Andy to stop what he was doing and held his hand. As a result, she saw the scar on Andy's arm. Andy tells Schaal that he once witnessed the gargoyle Incarnate killing his mother. Although he knew that his mother and many people in the slums had to do illegal things in order to survive, but had to be killed by the Gargoyle Incarnate, he believed that the Gargoyle Incarnate was not a human at all but a beast. At this moment, Topher suddenly appeared and interrogated Andy about the theft. He also asked Schaal whether he would protect Andy. Schaal asked Topher his purpose in killing criminals, and Topher explained that he was only punishing and redeeming those who were tainted by sin. Schaal recalled what Hank said about Incarnate eventually losing its humanity, and she asked Topher not to let the power of Incarnate devour his humanity and kill, but she was unable to shoot him. Fortunately, Hank showed up to stop Topher and save Schaal and Andy, but he was injured in the fight. After Topher was shot through his left wing by Hank with a Godkiller bullet, he immediately decided that Hank was the sinner. Before Topher left, he told Hank that he would be waiting for his arrival in an abandoned church. He could visit anytime he wanted or bring some people to the church. Schaal apologized to Hank for taking the risk to save him. Hank accepted Schaal's apology because he was just doing his duty. That night, as Topher was watching the surroundings outside Whitechurch, Cain and a girl named Migileglia appeared behind Topher. Topher knew what Cain was seeking out for him and said all he could do was bring justice to the area. Cain knew Topher's character and that he would not join his camp, but he specially gave Topher a Godkiller bullet and explained that this special bullet could easily deal with their common target depending on the use. Before leaving, Cain told Topher that they would meet again when he was able to bring the justice he deserved to the Whitechurch. After returning to the hotel, Hank took care of his injuries and quickly went to find Topher. He asked Schaal and Andy to stay in the hotel to make it safer. Before Hank left, he told Schaal that if he didn't come back early tomorrow morning, it would be best for her to follow Andy and leave Whitechurch immediately. Andy asked Schaal after Hank left why she didn't pull the trigger of her rifle when Topher was attacking them, questioning whether Schaal was sympathetic to Topher's actions. Later, Hank came to the church to look for Topher but saw many bodies of residents who were killed by Topher and hung above the church. Topher stood on the pulpit in the church and told Hank that he was using his actions to show Hank his justice. Hank immediately reprimanded Topher for his behavior, so he picked up his weapon and stabbed Topher only to find that what was sitting on the table was just a stone statue. Not long after, Topher showed up and knocked Hank against the wall, and told him that he shouldn't rashly break into the enemy camp without anticipating the unknown situations. So Hank had no choice but to transform into a werewolf and fight Topher. Elsewhere, Schaal is distressed at the hotel about how she shot Topher without relying on Hank's help. When Schaal discovered that her rifle was missing, she realized that Andy might have gone to church. She completely ignored Hank's warnings and went to church alone to stop Andy. During the fight, Hank told Topher that he was not doing justice at all by killing criminals, but Topher explained to Hank that justice does exist for him, and also explained that The more evil tries to spread, the more justice shall prevail. Topher also recounted that he had obtained the qualifications for survival on the battlefield and defeated the soldiers of the Southern Army to usher in peace. He also believed that his actions were indeed true justice. However, when he received the news that the war was over, he was dissatisfied that the Northern and Southern armies privately reconciled to end the war and that justice could not be served. When the failed to achieve any justice, Topher tried to tell his comrades to keep fighting, but instead they became suspicious and parted ways. Hank successfully subdues Topher after transforming into his werewolf form and engaging in a fierce battle with him. However, Topher shot Hank down with a Godkiller bullet and suppressed him. Topher asks Hank if he knows what the Incarnates are and what they have been fighting for until now. Topher explains that the Incarnates' abnormal posture is the mission and trial they have been given. They can only accept the power beyond the imagination of the world and become a being beyond humans and gods. Hank warned Topher that the Incarnates were not gods at all. When they began to abandon their status as humans, they were destined to become beasts sooner or later, be hunted down, and even be forgotten. Hank's words reminded Topher of when he returned to his hometown of Whitechurch after the war, and all the residents were afraid of his half-Incarnate form. At this time, Andy came to support Hank with Schaal's rifle, but was knocked to the ground because he failed to shoot Topher. Schaal rushed to help Andy up and questioned the Topher 's motives. Topher told Schaal that her behavior made him When he recalled how he accidentally killed a boy who had committed a theft while trying to talk to him and was treated as a monster, his conflicted heart completely collapsed and he was immersed in the joy of killing the sinner. When Schaal fails to stop Topher, Hank immediately pulls out the bullet lodged in his body and briefly transforms into a werewolf again, thrusting his hand into the Topher's chest and executing him. Topher believe he was a righteous until Hank was to shot him. Before he died, Topher told Hank that he knew that Hank's killing of many of their comrades with his own hands was not an act of justice at all. Schaal felt conflicted about Topher's behavior and sadly asked Hank the reason for all this. Before Hank fell to his knees due to injuries, he told Schaal that because their power was too strong, no all Incarnates could to continuing to maintain his humanity. When Schaal wanted to help Hank up but was entangled in spider silk, at this moment Cain appeared in front of Schaal and Hank and said that since they are incarnations, they can achieve what no one can achieve concept. After Cain asks Hank if he ever experienced the thought of being shot by a Godkiller bullet again, Hank realizes that it was Cain who handed Topher a Godkiller bullet. Schaal was surprised by Cain's behavior, but before she could react, she was knocked unconscious by Elizabeth Weezer, the Arachne Incarnate, who had followed Cain a long time ago and appeared behind her. Caine told Hank he was here to invite him and asked Miglieglia to place the invitation in front of Hank. Before leaving, Kane tells Hank that he will let Schaal go if he is willing to come to the party he is hosting tomorrow night. Hank fell to the ground before he could retort to Cain. The next morning, Liza stood with Claude Withers and all members of The Coup de Grace troop, overlooking Whitechurch's all area. Claude said that the time has come and said that he could not to wait to find and defeat Cain and make all everything will be end.

Hank, who won the battle with Topher but was injured and comatose due to Cain's conspiracy, dreamed that Schaal fell to the ground like Elaine who was shot by Cain. When he woke up, he was already in the hotel room. Andy was relieved to find that Hank was awake, but he was worried about Schaal's safety and situation. He asked Hank if he was also one of the church's monsters and said he had to do something. Hank promised Andy that he would bring Schaal back as soon as possible. Hank decided to accept Cain's invitation and came to the place assigned to him by Cain. Meanwhile, Miglieglia became interested in Schaal's eyes soon after looking at her. Originally, Miglieglia wanted to take Schaal's eyes, but stopped because of Elizabeth's appearance. After Elizabeth learns her true identity from Schaal's confession, she is also confused and interested in Schaal following Hank. As Elizabeth rips off Schaal's clothes, she says she won't do anything to Schaal and promises to return her to Hank. On the other side, Claude, Liza and Gerald take The Coup de Grace troop to examine a series of corpses left behind by Topher after they found Topher's corpse, but they discover that a nobleman and his wife were murdered by Cain, so they decide to head to the manor to capture and hunting down Cain and his Incarnate army . That night, Hank entered the manor and found a large number of well-dressed nobles invited by Cain, from the Confederacy, and whose wealth had been taken away by the war. At this time, Cain appeared from a high place and addressed everyone. He said that Incarnate was also an existence created by the northerners who longed for victory but was abandoned and ordered to be destroyed. Cain gathered a large group of Incarnates and declared that they should continue the unfinished war to get back everything they deserved, but he claimed that they no longer needed to edominate from humans which want to control them after a Karkinos Incarnate killed a male guest who was cross to them. All Incarnates who follow Cain and were slaughtering the guests stopped and confronted Hank when he started attacking a Ogre Incarnate. Cain explained to Hank that everything they done was just according to their minds, not that they had lost their humanity for long ago. Cain asks Hank why they Incarnates have to be eradicated in this world, just like Elaine decided to do to them with her own hands when she was alive. Cain asked Hank to understand and further explained that the reason why all Incarnates lose their humanity and reason and turn into beasts is caused by human beings' distorted ideas and desires, negative perceptions and many other circumstances, so even if their appearance changes, as long as their reason is still there, they will not lose their humanity. Cain declares that they will "live as they please" to eliminate the "obstacles" that block and destroy in their way. Hank accused Cain of doing many inhumane and moral acts in the name of pretending to be gods in order to achieve his goals, and decided to complete the purpose of coming here. Just as Hank was holding his weapon and facing Cain's Incarnate army, The Coup de Grace troops broke into the venue, and they killed and subdued several Incarnates. Cain asks if Claude can really defeat him by confronting him. At this time, Centaur Incarnate and Garmr Incarnate, who had joined Cain early, jumped in front of Claude. Claude was rescued by Hank because he was outnumbered, and Hank could not get close to Cain. Cloud shoots Cain from a distance to no avail, but Hank gets closer and detonates the explosive by stabbing Cain in the face with his spear. But even though Cain was exploded, he was completely regenerated by his Incarnate power. Cain asks Hank to join him, but Hank quickly rejects Cain, so Cain asks Elizabeth to take Schaal out. Cain shoots Schaal and says he wants to "liberate" and destroy the "chains" that "bind" Hank. Hank is initially blocked by Centaur Incarnate and Garmr Incarnate, but he transforms into a werewolf and pushes them away, However, he is stopped by Elizabeth's line. Hank went berserk when he saw Schaal fall down like Elaine, and Cain "guided" Hank to release his "nature" while tearing off " the Chains of Gleipnir" that "bond" him. Hank's werewolf form grew and transformed into a giant, glowing wolf that could not be contained in the manor and destroyed an entire roof enough to crush Karkinos Incarnate beneath its feet. He jumped to the town of Whitechurch and landed between the buildings. Cain told Claude and Gerald that he said that Hank's form was "The King of the Beasts" , which could not be controlled and tamed by humans around the world. Claude and Gerald were shocked and were affected and fell into a coma. Later, Claude wakes up in a military hospital, he and Liza discovered that a huge canyon had been cut into the middle of Whitechurch. More importantly, both Hank and Cain were missing after last night. When Liza discovered that Schaal was also in a coma like Gerald, she began to feel very worried and uneasy about Hank's whereabouts.

The news of Whitechurch's destruction incident were shocked and bringing the second shock to people and all Patria since the war. Not only that, two weeks later another event occurred that shocked the world. That incident was the rebellious speech initiated by Cain, who maliciously harmed Schaal and used Hank's "The King of Beasts" Incarnates power to provoke the Whitechapel Incident, which outraged both humans and gods. Shortly after Hank disappeared after triggering the Whitechapel incident, In Cain's narration, the land of Patria was divided into two parts due to the north and the south in the past, and conquests continued in the struggle. Even after the war was over, they still could not get the answers and the best results they wanted, let alone know which side would win, prosper, or the promise of everything changing from now on. Cain said that the situation in the country of Patria is beginning to decline now because both the northern and southern governments have turned into puppet governments due to the influence of many profit-minded bourgeois and incompetent nobles in the north. There are also many corrupt rulers who continue to squeeze and oppress the people and manipulate the country as they please. Cain promised the many citizens who longed and pursued true equality and listened to the speech, as well as the soldiers who fled from the north because of their desire to lose justice, that their Incarnates would be with them. It was time for them to rise up, break the boundaries and dominance between the north and the south, and create a new world of their own freedom and a brand-new country -- The New Patria. After that speech, not only soldiers and nobles who were dissatisfied with their post-war treatment were involved, but also all ordinary citizens. Cain and the many Incarnates who joined him declared their independence from Patria, and based themselves in the later developed western regions, successively incorporating all the towns, cities, and villages that took them in. Therefore, after receiving the news of the Whitechurch incident and New Patria, the northern government, which had not yet dealt with the aftermath of the war and had not yet recovered from the heavy sacrifices brought about by the war, focused on preparing domestic defense deployments for the upcoming new war. Since the northern government needs to be wary of many Incarnates remaining in the north joining the rebellion and prompting the country to quickly fall into ruin and destroy, After the agreement, the government finally ordered to start from the country to wipe out even execution of all Incarnates who were once "Gods" and "Heros" but transformed into the "Beasts" and prepared for the upcoming large-scale war. About a month after the Whitechurch Incident and the founding of New Patria, a lost traveler attempted to cross the Rivulet Wood's forest, but was attacked and killed by an unknown beast on the way. Meanwhile, Schaal recalls that she was spared from being shot during the Whitechurch incident because she was wearing a garment woven for her by Elizabeth's Incarnate power. Schaal knew that most of the bullets were blocked by Elizabeth's silk thread, but she didn't know or understand Elizabeth's real intention in doing so. Although Schaal was visited by the military, but she learned that because Hank caused the Whitechurch incident, the military decided to strip Hank of his military status and were looking for him. Therefore, she fell into self-blame and regret for being used by Cain to cause Hank to cause the Whitechurch incident and thinks she caused this to happen to Hank. When Schaal returned her home, she found that her home was still the same as before. It was as if it was yesterday when she left the village. She told her deceased father that she had met Hank and many of his comrades, and she also remembered that she had witnessed everything her father had been burdened with so far while following Hank. Initially, Schaal wanted to find out why Hank killed her father William, but in the process she witnessed the pain and sorrow that Hank and many of his comrades had been enduring. Schaal realizes that the more he learns about what Hank has been through, the less he knows whether he can help him, and he questions whether he has found a way to save Hank and all Incarnates. Schaal visiting her father's grave and learns Liza is here with The Coup de Grace troop to eliminate an Incarnate seen in the mountains nearby. Schaal receives permission to accompany the squad as she knows the area. That night, Claude apologized for their failure to prevent Schaal from being in danger and Hank from losing control and stated that they also bear heavy responsibility for Hank and the Whitechurch incident. Schaal learns that Claude is the son of President Patria. At this time, Schaal discovered that the Incarnate that The Coup de Grace troop wanted to attack was her late father William. Not only that, William's appearance had rotted to the point that he was no longer normal and could not obey Schaal's requests. Everyone was confused about William's sudden resurrection for unknown reasons and could not stop him from leaving. After Liza directly provided Claude with information about Schaal's father William, Claude immediately ordered The Coup de Grace troop to prepare for a direct attack to stop William's actions and prepare their Rotary Machine Cannon weapons. Due to time constraints, Liza gave Schaal a box of Godkiller bullets and tells her that if she wants to follow them to stop her father William, she must have those bullets with her and be ready. The Coup de Grace troop struggles to restrain William as he returns. However, William takes off for the town. William arrives in the town before the people evacuate, and Schaal remembers that her father left the town to help everyone, but he lost his humanity and gradually attacked the town. After Schaal understood the reason why Hank were to killed her father and all Incarnates in the first place, she decided not to be confused anymore and began to imitate Hank's use of God-killing bullets to transcend her father. William regained his sanity at the last moment of his life. He reached out to Schaal and said his final goodbyes before passing away peacefully. Although Schaal was devastated and somewhat comforted by the fact that she had been able to extradite her father and say goodbye to him, she knew that when she faced the all Incarnates, she began to believe that the only way to execute them was wrong. Schaal was determined that she would find other ways to save all Incarnates and to find and save Hank and support him, so she asked Liza, Claude, Gerald to let her go with them because she wanted to found Hank and do something to telling even to help him. Claude allows Schaal and he tells that they don't know Hank's whereabouts, but as long as she can follow the Coup de Grace troop, they will definitely find Hank quickly.

At the Presidential office in Newfort, government officials reported to President Richard Withers that their mission to sweep Incarnates would be successfully completed in about half a year. However, President Richard asked them to convey the request to the Coup de Grace troop to complete the task within three months, which made government officials afraid of his order and style of conduct. Meanwhile, Cain seemed to be preparing for his move by building a fort at Bold Creek, he was executing his unknown evil plan, he was also waiting for the arrival of the government troops and someone who he was waiting for. On the other side, the Coup de Grace troop was preparing the supplies and things they will need in the small town of Port Gulf. Gerald reported to Claude that because their special weapons and equipment were very special, their supply ship would arrive at the port in about four or five days. Claude felt very troubled after hearing this because they had to complete the mission they accepted within a limited time. On the other side, after Schaal helped Liza buy what they needed, she heard a mysterious singing when she was on the beach recalling the scene of her actions with Hank. Later, Schaal discovers the incarnation of Siren Incarnate Siren Beatrice who called Trice, in a cave by the sea. At this time, a man named Charles ordered Schaal to leave the cave at gunpoint, but Trice told Charles not to be rude to Schaal. Charles warns Trice that she had better not sing because the people in town are looking for her. Schaal tells Trice what happened to her father. Charles apologized to Schaal, saying that he had to hide Trice because there was a bounty on her head. Trice revealed her past as a singer, but with the war, she decided to become an Incarnate so that people could listen to her singing again. By the time the war ended, Trice discovered that no one wanted to hear her sing more because of her inevitable Incarnate. Schaal feels sympathy for Trice, so she continues to visit Trice to bring gifts and talk to him and learn about Hank's secrets and past. When Schaal was on her way back, Claude warned Schaal not to walk alone, because people were deeply afraid of war and would do crazy things at any time. He added that he not only wanted to kill all the Incarnates that harmed the world, but also defeated his half brother Cain, Schaal was deeply surprised by this incident. Charles plays the piano alone in the tavern and recalls the time when Trice was a singer for him, but encounters several men in town with rifles who ask him if he is hiding Trice. Trice hears Charles come in and say she plans to leave town until people can accept her again, only to find him shot to death in a skirmish. Before Charles died, he begged Trice not to blame the townspeople because they were too afraid of the harm caused by the war. Trice later went to town and used her singing to put people to sleep so they would never have to fear war again. When Liza, Claude, Gerald were discovered Trice's behavior after they found a handful of citizens who had fallen into a deep sleep, Liza remind Trice's ability were make the enemy fall into sleep, Claude order The Coup de Grace troop to split up to find Trice before her make a lot of confusion. When Claude and the three Coup de Grace's soldiers searched for Trice was sitting in the fountain, Trice used her singing voice to put the three Coup de Grace's soldiers fall into sleep, and just as Claude was about to lose to keep awake, Schaal immediately appeared and stopped Trice and told her motive, Trice told Schaal that she was just using her abilities to save all the townspeople and help them escape from a future that would never bring them light. She felt that even if there were no cheers and applause in the town, this place would become the best stage that belonged only to her. Schaal refuted Trice's statement and said that he did not want to see her continue to hurt innocent residents. Trice was woke up quickly after she heard Schaal said, Claude took the opportunity to stab Trice in the leg with his sword enough to keep himself awake and shot Trice, prompting Trice to escape to Charles's Bar regardless of her injuries and Schaal chased her. Trice flew onto the stage at Charles's Bar, Schaal was deeply sympathetic after learning of Trice's plight. She did not think Trice was lose her mind, so she asked to be allowed to sing. At this time, Claude ordered his troops to shoot Trice down. Schaal asked Claude to let Trice sing the last song and explained that Trice's song would not bring danger. Trice finished singing her song at Schaal's request. Schaal told Trice that her song was beautiful and nice. Trice passed away peacefully shortly after Schaal praised her song. Afterwards, The Coup de Grace troop prepares to leave the beach of Port Gulf. Claude told Schaal that he would shoot Schaal if she stopped him from wielding all Incarnates. He added that his troops had found traces of Hank deep in the snowy mountains of the Great Mountains. Although Claude did not understand Schaal's decision not to shoot Trice, Schaal explained to Claude that she wanted to save Trice and Hank no matter what, even if she sacrificed herself to help and protect Hank even many Incarnates which had still keep their humanity . On the other hand in the snowy mountains, the Sasquatch Incarnate Vic, who known in the snowy mountains for attacking and hunting travelers seeking to cross the wilderness out of hunger. After he attacked several scouts affiliated with The Coup de Grace troop, attacked Hank, who disappeared after the Whitechurch incident and continued to fulfill his oath, in order to save his safety. Knowing and remembers the damage he caused to the Whitechurch as the King of Beasts, and could no longer use his incarnate power. Hank had no choice but to kill Vic by explosive his head open with a grenade he held to keep fulfill the oath. When Hank kneels on the ground to catch his breath, and then continues to walk leave, not longer, the Garmr Incarnate were found Hank's trace.

After losing control at Whitechurch , Hank, who was forced to flee, began to be deeply afraid of his Incarnate power and prone to self-blame and guilt. Unable to bear the depths of hell, nightmares and pain and deep despair, He gave up on himself and completely lost the confidence and hope to fulfill the oath he had made in their Incarnates troop and afraid his powers as a beast and is in agony. When Hank was walking alone in the Great Mountains, he fell unconscious in the snow due to collapsed and exhaustion. But long after, it didn't take long for him to wake up because of the scene where he saw the hallucinatory scenes of the accusations, criticizing, blames and pleadings of his comrades who were killed by him. After Hank to move forward, he felt a look in front of him staring at him with a beast-like murderous intent. Soon, the gust strong wind accompanied by a beast-like roar blew Hank knocked down to the ground. When Hank got up not longer, he was attacked by Garmr Incarnate and his disarms and weapon was knocked off. Not only that, Garmr Incarnate bit and injure Hank's left arm and throw him on the ground and wounds him. Hank looked carefully at Garmr Incarnate and recognized him as his former comrade Roy. Roy asks Hank why he always resists Cain's invitations to him, and says that if he keeps continues to persistent in clinging to the past, it won't do anyone any good and won't change the overall situation of the world. Hank tells Roy that he doesn't actually want to fight him if he was going to change their oath. Roy warns Hank not to make ridiculous threats to him, and that he should be thankful that he spared himself from being killed. Hank said that he found that Roy's tone had become sarcastic and arrogant, which aroused his anger and murderous intent. Roy told Hank on the spot not to call him by his real name, so he attacked Hank quickly. Hank barely dodges Roy's attack and quickly picks up his dropped weapon before he can chase him, but Hank knew he was at a disadvantage in a fight with Roy in his situation, so he used a grenade to cause an explosion to take cover and quickly fled into the woods. At the same time, The Coup de Grace troop was also looking for Hank's whereabouts in the snowy mountains. Schaal knew that Claude would catch and kill Hank. She had to find Hank and tell Claude what she wanted to say to Hank. On the other hand, Hank hides next to a tree in the woods, enduring the pain, loading Godkiller Bullets into his pistol, and trying to find a way to without having to rely on him transforming into his Incarnate from for defeat Roy. Roy found Hank in the woods and attacked him. Garmr spots Hank in the woods and attacks him. At first, Hank tried to throw the knife at Roy, waiting for Roy to reveal a flaw and shoot him in the chest with a bullet. Unexpectedly, Roy blocked the bullet with his hand and knocked Hank to the ground. Hank was attacked from the front and fell unconscious. The sun rises, and since Hank can only use his Incarnate powers at night, Roy decides to leave the woods and tells Hank that it's best to remember his true identity, as he won't let their duel end there. On the next morning, when The Coup de Grace troop was also searching in the snowy mountains, Claude was injured and passed out with fever due to being pushed too far. Because for that, The Coup de Grace troop decided to stopped in front of an abandoned fortress, Muzzle Peak Lookout to treat him. When Claude awakens later in the afternoon, he asks Schaal about her choice to protect all the Incarnates even though she knew they were dangerous. She states they didn't ask for what happened to them and would have been better if they had humans to support them – like Trice did. Schaal explain to Claude about she wanted to find a answer for the Incarnates and humans to live in peace, and to find a way let the Incarnates to transform back they humanity. At this time, Gerald reported to Claude and Schaal that he had sent a reconnaissance team. He told Claude that they had discovered the whereabouts of Hank and an unknown Incarnate. Claude convened the troops to hold a combat meeting to bring back Hank and defeat another unidentified incarnate. Just as Claude was about to set off with his exhausted body, Liza said that he needed to rest first, so he had to order Gerald took command of the troops on his behalf. When Schaal received information about Hank's whereabouts, she decided to follow The Coup de Grace troop to find Hank. After Liza settled Claude, she explained to Claude that Schaal did not understand Hank's killing of Incarnates at first, and even thought about killing Hank, but she chose to find a way to resolve the conflict between humans and incarnates, and also tried to find By using the method of turning the incarnates who had turned into beasts can to transform back they humans, Liza determined that Schaal was slowly changing and growing a lot. Hank wakes up after nightfall after nightfall from a nightmare in which he dreamed of becoming the king of the beasts form, he found Roy are waiting for him to continue fighting with him. Not long after, Roy threw Hank on the snowy field and forced him to release his incarnation form, but Hank refused to obey and continued to stab Roy's shoulder with a knife several times. Roy grabbed Hank's left foot, he threw him to the ground and put him at a disadvantage with the soles of his own feet. Roy grabs Hank by the throat and asks him why he's acting so differently than before. Since they are incarnations rather than beasts, they should regain their will and glory in their era, instead of Obsessed with human identity, but Hank refuted Roy's statement. In his eyes, Roy was just a hound that had lost its will and dignity after being played and tamed by Cain. Roy was angered at this that he pierced Hank's chest with his claws. Hank painfully turned into a werewolf form and suppressed and severely injured Roy in his berserkly and driven mad . However, when Hank's left eye was soaked in blood, he recalled the situation when he transformed into the King of the beasts form in his dream and returned to reason, but he screamed out of fear and attracted the attention the Schaal and The Coup de Grace troops. Hank transformed back into a human following the screams, but he was unable to continue fighting due to fear. Hank was repeatedly beaten to the ground and thrown to the edge of the cliff by Roy, but he did not react at all. Roy was furious and dissatisfied that Hank was suddenly unable to continue fighting with him. He knew that Hank had true proud and pride in the past to change and redeem everyone in their Incarnate troop. However, Hank has become afraid to admit it. He does not accept or know who he really is. He became not want to remember who he really is, not to mention that he cannot accept the real true self of himself, even his real face. Roy discovered that Hank was no longer the proud, dignity and self-respecting man he used to admire. He is just a pathetic man who knows how to escaped reality by keep denying himself, deluding himself, and deceiving himself to kill their Incarnate comrades to protect and maintain the last honor of the Incarnate troop. Roy beaten Hank to a dying state even push him into the deathly abyss many times, and determined that Hank's current state could not change all everything, and there was nothing he could do to save their comrades and give them a final chance for rest in peace, even give them last redemption. When Roy was about to give Hank a fatal blow, Coup de Grace troops appeared and attacked Roy , However, The Coup de Grace troops' s attack caused the part of the cliff where Hank was standing to begin to break and he fell rapidly. When Schaal found the seriously injured Hank calling for him, Hank follows him as he falls off the cliff into the darkness below of the canyon.

Roy recalled that before he transformed into Garmr Incarnate, he was a young infantryman belonging to an Infantry Combat team. At that time, he followed all the soldiers of the infantry combat team and rushed towards the enemy camp with fear, but he was seriously injured in a tragic gunfight and fell to the ground. Therefore, Roy was sent to an unknown "medical facility" and Becoming an Incarnate under "treatment" under Elaine's supervision. He fights alongside Hank against the Confederates, when Roy is proud to remember the trust he placed in Hank and fight alongside him. Back in the present day, Roy fled from the cliff into the woods and was continuously shot by Coup de Grace, because Coup de Grace's soldiers relied on night vision goggles to find out where Roy was hiding. However, Roy still launched a counterattack, killing half of the team members, and then reinforcements from the Muzzle Peak Lookout (including Liza and Claude) also set out to support the surviving team. During this period, Hank, who was seriously injured and fall over the edge of the cliff with his dying state, and even thought he was dead to saw Elaine, who was worried about him, by his side in a illusion. When a blue butterfly landed on the hands of Hank and Elaine, Hank was awake and found Schaal beside him on the cave. Hank was surprised by Schaal's appearance, but he felt relieved after he knew the details of the reason. Schaal told Hank that shortly after about a month after the Whitechurch Incident, her father suddenly came to life and transformed into a beast. No one knew the reason at the time, but she shot her father with a shotgun as an extradition to him and told how her father regained consciousness at the last moment and said goodbye to her. Schaal fully understands how Hank felt when he killed her father and understands that he did so to prevent her father from turning into a beast and causing destruction. Schaal believes that before her father died, he wanted to say thank for Hank to save him before he was terrified of turning into a beast. Hank is surprised and confused that Schaal would understand and forgive him. He doesn't understand what he is doing or the reason for his oath. Hank told Schaal that he wanted to know if he had actually saved many of his comrades. He also wants to know whether the comrades he killed sincerely forgive his actions and receive true redemption. Hank told Schaal that Elaine had not found an antidote even not found the method of turning the incarnates who had turned into beasts can to transform human back at the time. Hank discovered that in the incarnate troop, whether it was Schaal's father or others or the comrades who stood with him, they were undoubtedly human beings. It was precisely because of this idea that he was able to regard many Incarnates as Humanity comes to bury. At that time, he only remembered that they had to make an oath to keep the heart of humanity. He knew that in order to fulfill this oath, but he killed his many comrades who wanted to live. Hank questions whether his situation can give his comrades a last chance for redemption. He also doubts whether he can find hope while redeeming himself by getting back everything and important people and things he has lost in his life. Hank knew that the more he used the power of his Incarnate power, sooner or later he would face the cruel fate of turning into a beast like his friends. He could not imagine the destruction he would do by becoming the King of Beasts. Looking desperate, Hank asked Schaal if she could kill him before it was too late if he suddenly turned into a beast that couldn't control himself and couldn't turn back into a human again. More importantly, he wanted to die while he still had some humanity left in him and remembered his comrades. Although Schaal understands what Hank means, but she was overwhelmed and regretfully rejected his request. Hank knew that Schaal would not be able to accomplish what he wanted to do, and he apologized for his actions that had implicated Schaal. In order to prevent more people from suffering misfortune, he decided to let Schaal stay in the cave and wait for someone to take him away, while he would go to find Garmr to end things and disappear from the world forever. Before Hank left, he asked Schaal to wait until all events were truly over. He hoped that Schaal would remember their Incarnates existence. When dealing with The Coup de Grace troop, Roy believed that as long as he killed the leader of The Coup de Grace troop, he could destory The Coup de Grace troop. However, Gerald already knew Roy's purpose and used him as a bait and set up traps to counterattack. Soon after Roy captured Gerald, he found that he was surrounded by The Coup de Grace troop with wires. Roy warned Gerald that he would be implicated if he allowed The Coup de Grace troop team to shoot directly. But Gerald said that even if their human army would face the risk of losing their commander, they must kill all the Incarnates who turned into a beast. Although The Coup de Grace troop team fired multiple shots at Roy, they were unable to give him a fatal blow. Fortunately, Claude appears and hits Roy with a grenade launcher, forcing him to escape and save Gerald. While he was still recovering, Claude managed to hold himself together with Lisa's help and scolded Gerald for his dangerous plan. Schaal understood that even though she was in despair about Hank asking her to kill him, she still held on to the hope and idea that Hank could survive as a human being. Schaal thought about what she was going to say to Hank and walked out the cave. Meanwhile, Roy is standing limping by the river due to blood loss as Hank approaches from the other side of the river. Hank deliberately held the grenade to keep Roy close to him. Just as he was about to let himself and Roy die together, Schaal suddenly rushed out and shot Roy's knee with a shotgun. Schaal tells Hank that in her eyes, he is just a human being, and promises that as long as Hank becomes a beast that cannot control himself and never turns back into a human, she will bury him as a human being, and save his as a human soul. Schaal told Hank that he was human in her eyes, also promised that she would extradite and kill him as a human personally if he turned into a beast that could not control himself and could not turn back into a human again. Miglieglia resurrects a massive number of corpses from a graveyard under Cain's instructions, she followed Elizabeth and many Incarnates to invade the South's Capital. While the fight between Hank and Miles continues, Martin recognizes Hank's true identity. Hank transformed into his werewolf form and fought with Miles. Then he used Miles' spear to throw Miles into the ground that collapsed due to the grenade bombardment and pinned him. Then he asked Gerald to use a flare to signal the army to fire. When the army not long after attacking Miles with the cannon, Miles still tried to use his immortality to try to repair the damage he suffered, but it didn't take long for Miles to find that his injuries did not heal but began to disintegrate. Hank realizes they have been surrounded by Martin's secret weapon, the poison of Abi, the Hydra Incarnate's ability, turned into a poisonous mist called Alphahard, which kills nearby soldiers too. It was sent by the president to kill the Incarnates but Claude can't accept the casualties it causes among their own. Miles dies due to the poison and is shot by Hank. Cain shows up at Martin's camp and uses his new abilities to slaughter the soldiers, and is met with confronts Martin, Schaal and Claude. Martin 's soldiers attempted to shoot Cain, but they were quickly annihilated by his abilities, and Cain manipulated Martin into swallowing Alphard. The commotion caused by Cain forces Hank handed over the command of capturing the fortress to Gerald and rush back to help Claude and Schaal. Just when Claude was close to be attacked by Cain, he was saved by Hank. Cain revealed to Hank, Schaal and Claude that this fortress was a decoy when he took control of the South Capital, so that other Incarnates could kill the South's leader who was about to sign an agreement with the North to fight against New Patria. Cain feels ironic that Hank still stops him. Cain think that humans just treat Incarnates as props, using and discarding them at will, otherwise there would be no Incarnates. When Cain asks Hank if he thanks him for shooting Elaine who couldn't handle them properly, Hank denies Cain's statement. Hank knew Elaine had to make up for her mistakes by creating the Incarnates and prepare to be hated by everyone. Hank explains that both humans and Incarnates are bound to make mistakes, and as long as they can correct their mistakes and save everything, they can gain true salvation. Hank said he would to fulfill their troops oath and Elaine's dying wishes. He said that since the Incarnate should disappear with the war, they should try to find a way to avoid conflict with humans and coexist peacefully with them before the situation becomes serious and fulfill Elaine could not do during her lifetime. This is also the only chance to give them and Elaine a chance for redemption and atonement. Cain admires Hank's statement, but points out that justice can only be created by the victor. Hank and Cain begin to fight, with Cain's new abilities putting Hank at a disadvantage. When the sun rises, Hank can no longer maintain his werewolf form. Cain wounded Hank and expressed his hope that Hank could survive and become his comrade as the king of beasts, and witness the era they created like a god. Hank stood up with Schaal's help. Cain remembered that he was dissatisfied with Elaine's dependence on Hank. When Cain were attack Schaal and told her not to interfere and control their world like the real gods, but Hank stopped Cain and told him that a only belongs to their "world" doesn't exist at all. Hank unleashes his unknown awakened power and knocks Cain to the ground. When Cain discovered that the north army had captured Bold Creek Fort with the assistance of The Coup de Grace troop led by Gerald, he told Hank and Schaal that things would not end soon, and said that they would met and fight again on a new battlefield before disappearing. With the help of The Cope de Grace's troop, the north army successfully captured Bold Creek Fort, but because the South's capital was fellen by New Patria, President Richard ordered all the army and the troops to withdraw to the capital to prepare for their final defense and counterattack, and also decided to use the final plan of requesting support from countries and foreign countries around the world. The realization of Cain's evil plan to take control of the western and southern regions also means that the end of Patria is slowly beginning to be numbered. As Hank and Schaal were about to leave the fortress, Liza promised Schaal that they would continue to help her and Hank once she and the army dealt with the aftermath. When Liza and the soldiers of The Coup de Grace troop saw off Hank and Schaal who were about to embark on their unknown journey, Claude and Gerald decided that they needed Hank and Schaal's help to defeat all the Incarnates who had lost their humanity. They'll also take many contingency measures while Hank still has his humanity. Hank is reminded of how much Schaal has changed since they first met, and Schaal says that as she's been through a lot, she's starting to change her perspective on all Incarnates. Hank asked Schaal if he was ready for a long battle. Schaal explains to Hank that she has found her purpose and is mentally prepared for Hank to successfully fulfill the vows they made to each other. In the middle of nowhere in New Patria, Cain looks at Elaine's naked corpse, locked in a glass container, still with a large gunshot wound to her right chest. Although Elaine is dead, the liquid in the container indicates that she is still alive and in a state of coma. Cain held a mysterious crystal (suspected to be Somnium) and told Elaine that she wants to try to stop the resurrection and a new world will awaken. Cain's words mean that the reason why Elaine created the Incarnates during her lifetime will soon be revealed. She gradually brought about the darkness that destroyed the entire Patria because of a certain "wish" she wanted to realize, and will swallow the entire Patria and also indicated that Cain maybe would soon resurrect Elaine or use her to deal with Hank and Schaal. |
